To and from the conference

The conference is held 10km north of Copenhagen at the Technical University of Denmark. A shuttle bus, booked for the occasion, will cover this commute. The bus will depart from conference hotel at 08:00. The bus will leave at 17:00 on 14th August and 16:00 on 15th August, returning to the conference hotel.

From the airport

For your flight to Copenhagen, we recommend you travel to Copenhagen Airport, also known as Kastrup Airport. The fastest way from there to the city is the metro. The metro station can be found in terminal 3 of Copenhagen airport and departs every 5 minutes. Get off the metro at Nørreport Station, and conference hotel will be within walking distance (approx. 5 min).

Welcome to Denmark

Dear ISoRD14 participant,

We would like to welcome you to Denmark, the home of Hans Christian Andersen and the LEGO Building Brick. As we recommend that you stay in the wonderful Copenhagen during the conference, accommodation has been arranged at Ibsens Hotel right in the very centre of the capital.

From Conference Hotel, you will be able to walk or take the metro to any part of Copenhagen. Explore the city through sightseeing, go shopping in the many and varied types of stores of Copenhagen downtown, visit the free city of Christania or relax in the many parks of Copenhagen. If you don’t feel like walking, rent a bike and ride everywhere you like in the best city in the world.

We are looking forward to see you here!
